• Login to your CPanel
  • Your login and password for your CPanel were submitted to you in a "Welcome" email that you should have received upon signing up for hosting with us
  • Contact us if you do not have your login information
     
• Once in CPanel, click the icon "Email Accounts"
  • There you will find a complete listing of all email accounts associated with your hosted domain
     
• At the top of this screen you will see "Add a New Email Account"
• You need to complete 4 pieces of information:
  • Email: - Enter the beginning of the email address here. If the full email address is going to be " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ", just enter "john".
  • Domain (this is a drop-down field that will allow you to select a domain) - If you are only hosting a single domain with iTech Developers, that domain will automatically appear in this block, and you can move on to the next step. Otherwise select the domain you wish to associate with this new email address.
    
    • The domain you select will be added to the Email name you entered in the first field giving you the full email address of " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it "
  • Password: - Assign a password to this account ... and remember it!
    
    • Passwords are CaSe SeNsItIvE - if you enter your password using all lower case characters, it must be entered exactly the same way in whatever program you use to check your email.
    • You may also use the "Generate Password" button to create a completely random set of characters for your password. These passwords are always more secure, but also more difficult to remember in a crunch.
  • Mailbox Quota (optional): - This indicates how much email the account will be allowed to hold before it is considered "full".
    
    • Simply enter "10" for 10 megabytes (without the quotes), or any other number to define how much space is available for this email account.
    • You can also enter "unlimited" to allow the email to collect an unlimited number of emails.
      
      • Keep in mind that the sum total of emails that your accounts can collect are in direct relationship to the total amount of hosting disk space you purchased. You can verify how much hosting space you have available to you on the "Home" page of your CPanel
• Once you have entered all of this information, simply click the "Create" button at the bottom.

Your new email account will be "immediately" ready to use!
